Your parents of course have the right to search your room, but as your example shows, it's a pretty dumb thing for them to do. Now you know they do not trust you, and you do not trust them. It's not really possible to have a healthy relationship without trust. My condolences. I hope you are an older teen with an exit plan to get out when you turn 18

I had a problem with that the other day. I do not know if it is a cache issue or what, but even though I would chosen a specific category and subcategory, it was still searching the category from my PRIOR search request! I had to go back and forth 3 times to get it to REALLY search what and where I wanted. Maybe try clearing your cache or hitting refresh BEFORE you start an advanced search will make it work closer to what you are expecting. That's what I am going to try next time.

No. Any drywall is fine. If it were in a bathroom then you would use greenboard and that helps stop mold from growing. When you tile you can use the adhesive and put up the whole section but when you grout it work a small area at a time. Someone who is new at tiling may not realize how long it takes to properly wipe it down and get all the grout off and once the grout dries its pretty much stuck on like cement! Good luck!.

The Commando's are more like the Navy Seals than the SAS, the SAS regiment takes care of smaller ops, while the Commando's (predominately 2 Cdo) are involved in the bigger, large scale operations. I've never heard of "Splinter Cell" before, but from what I found on wikipedia, the closest unit in the ADF would be TAG (mostly West, as East take care of the bigger operations, being sourced from 2 Cdo). Anyway TAG (Tactical Assault Group) are Australia's designated counter-terrorism unit. My two years spent serving with TAG West were probably the best years of my life (counter-terrorism duties are rotated between the 3 Sabre-Squadrons, each Squadron gets at least one turn every three years). If you dream on having your friends in the same unit as you "wasting" rag-heads with a sniper from 2 km's away, you are indeed dreaming. I can send you a picture of my sand-coloured beret, which proves my service (every SAS operator is awarded one upon the completion of their 18 month reinforcement training). After that if you still continue to press the subject I will be notifying my lawyer who will be filing a complaint, I am sick of this mistreatment... I have received, what I perceive as being (the words included copious amounts of vulgarity), death threat's... because of the unfounded rumors you have spread. And no, there will never be a lone soldier doing anything like that, but you would be surprised what the guys from the water troops and OAT do in training. If you still do not believe in the existence of the different specialised troops, read one of Keith's books, he explains it in detail (he is not the source of my knowledge though, if you wish to continue to press on that). For your sake, do not continue to deny the existence of these units or my service, as the only person you are embarrassing is yourself...
