Civil Ceremony Wedding Vows

In a civil wedding ceremony, a bride and groom are free to make verbal commitments to one another at the time they exchange their wedding rings. These verbal commitments are specially made so that the couple can express their true feelings for one another and what they mean in each others' lives. No matter what kind of ceremony is conducted, the bride and the groom have to exchange the vows during the ceremony.
