Yes, decidedly deceptive. Are not most certificates awarded, or the programs completed? One would be a certificate holder, not a graduate, as the latter word is reserved for those who completed requirements of a bachelor's degree or greater.A sham attempt soon seen through
1. Is it okay If i email my professor saying I looked up his linkedin profile?
Well, LinkedIn is a public forum, so I do not think it's creepy. I think it would be better to talk to him face to face but if that's not possible then I think it's fine to email him. That's really what LinkedIn is for, by the way, a networking site.
2. Where can I learn more about LinkedIn? Are there any free (or not) online courses available that would help me learn the ins and outs of LinkedIn?

3. If your ex fiance views your profile on linkedin? (would really appreciate a man's perspective)?
It means he is curious to see what you are doing. I would advise you to leave this relationship in the past. The man was your fiance and he left you without a word over something your father said to him? There is something wrong with him and you have dodged major problems. Thank your lucky stars and stay away from him. And I wonder why you are willing to take him back. You have issues too. Ego and pride are one thing. This is twisted. EDIT: do you really want to spend you life with someone who disappears every few months? I am sure the kids and his boss would be understanding......would you be expected to put everything on hold and keep everything running when he leaves for one of his walkabouts?
4. How can I get the old LinkedIn interface back?
Unfortunately Bill this is not possible.LinkedIn will roll it out to everyone over the next 6(/-) months.I feel your pain. I had to upgrade to Sales Navigator to get the features I need (Advanced Search now called Lead Builder in SN)I hope this is helpful. Please Follow Teddy Burriss on LinkedIn for more LinkedIn best practices and ideas.
5. LinkedIn Question -- People You May Know feature?
I do not know for sure but I would not get my hopes up. LinkedIn cross references these lists with other user's lists and deduce connections from there. I wish you luck and hope you hear from that company soon.
6. If someone doesn't have lots of connections on LinkedIn, does that mean they aren't regarded as a good employee?
LinkedIn is now a boss circle jerk, it started out for anyone but ordinary people have deleted or forgot about their profile
7. What's the formula to optimize (SEO) your LinkedIn Profile for search results within LinkedIn?
LinkedIn meets the professional and business needs of its 675 million members. So, LinkedIn Profile optimization is a must. But now, you want to focus on a formula to optimize (SEO) your LinkedIn Profile for search results within LinkedIn. First, you have to know that LinkedIn SEO differs from regular SEO because the keywords that users type in to search for services and businesses on LinkedIn are not always the same as what users type in Google. Why does this happen? The reason is the average user does not consider LinkedIn to be a search engine. They use it as intended, and as a social media platform. They also use short-term terms that match the user's job titles. While users may use keywords such as "copywriting services for small businesses" in Google, they are more likely to use terms such as "copywriter" or "writer" on LinkedIn. However, LinkedIn Profiles have a chance to rank in the SERPs when users search long or short tail terms in Google. So, I suggest you optimize your LinkedIn Profile with both SEO keywords and what I call this as "LinkedIn SEO keywords".Thus, what are the formula to optimize (SEO) your LinkedIn Profile for search results within LinkedIn? You can refer to the checklist below:What do you want your profile to rank for?Do these terms get decent search volume, with low competition?Do they match the intent of your target audience? These are all questions that you need to consider as a formula. Generate a list of words worth ranking for and which have reasonable search volume.
