Trapped In The Cupboard Lyrics
1. wat happens if u put frozen food like fish finger or pies in a cupboard? people keep stealing my food at uni!?
Lauren, can you buy some kind of lock & put on the frig? I would tell who ever is in charge of the rooms at the dorms the problems you are having. You do not want frozen foods hidden in cabinets. they will spoil.. I would try locks...Plus you can buy either a real video cam or those fake ones. ..Leave a sign on frig. .that they are now being watched.
2. Getting rid of chemical smell in cupboard caused by bleach?
You will have to seal the inside of your wardrobe to get rid of the smell. You have two choices on how to seal the inside: 1) Shellac or 2) shellac-based primer and then paint. If you do not want to change the color of the inside of your wardrobe, coat the inside thoroughly with 2 coats of clear shellac. Allow the first coat to dry completely before applying the second coat. If you want to paint the inside of your wardrobe white, first apply 2 coats of shellac-based primer. Zinsser is an excellent brand of shellac-based primer (available at Home Depot). Then apply semi-gloss paint (in any color) over the shellac. Again allow each coat to dry before applying the next coat....both with the primer and with the paint. This will do get rid of the smell, but you must use shellac if you have an oily sheen. Regular paint will not adhere to that unless you first apply a shellac-based primer. You will need at least 3 or 4 paint brushes or rollers to apply the shellac or the shellac-based primer. Shellac is next to impossible to clean off a brush, and it can clog your drains. It's best to just throw the brush or roller away after one use. Or you can apply the shellac with sponges and throw those away after one use. Good luck.
3. does anyone know of something that will get latex paint off laminate cupboard doors??
If its not old, soap and water (the beauty of Latex paint). If its old (i.e. more than a year) GoofOff will generally do the job without discoloring anything
4. Cupboard/pantry moths, any better ideas on how to get rid of them?
sorry for the laziness, just cut n pasted from an earlier answer I gave... " you need to remove what they are in or may of gotten into...anything made from a plant material, usually seeds such as cereal, corn meal, tea, nuts, peanuts. Empty cabinets where you store the foods and thoroughly clean, concentrate in cracks and on the under side of shelving. Open unopened boxes not so much that they are in the food but have just crawled under the flap to pupate to the adult which if go unnoticed will show up in a couple of weeks to start the infestation again. Also check old dogie treats..bird seed and potpourri and dried floral arrangements you may have around the home. No insecticide will be needed. " what probably happened was you needed to open up the unopened boxes of stuff, not so much that they are getting into the food, but they will pupate into the adult moth, takes a couple of weeks, under the flaps of the boxes (cereal, pancake mix, etc.)
5. Do you put your glasses right-side up, or upside down when putting them in the cupboard?
Well I take them out of the dishwasher straight to the cupboard. So I put them upside down so that any water will drip to the bottom and wo not stay on the glasses
6. Will oyster mushrooms eat my cupboard? [closed]
I do not think you can use your kitchen cupboards as a fruiting chamber. Once the bags are fully colonized, and they start to fruit you will need to provide oxygen and light otherwise they wo not grow well. Since the bulk of the mushroom is water you will need to keep misting them which could damage the wood, but without the increased oxygen and light they wo not do well. If the wood is kept moist from misting you might get surface molds developing which you can wipe off
