I have no idea if it will work, but I think you should keep it! Scars are cool, and they tell a story. Freckles and scars are just skin stars and galaxies. It's part of you, it's your body. I have a large scar running down my thigh. At first, I did not like it, but I've grown to over time. It makes me, me. You get what I am saying? I would kinda miss my skin feeling weird there, and how it changes color depending on my body temperature. Cold is purple, hot is red. Your scar is what makes you special, and nobody has it but you. Sure, they could have it in the same place, but it's not the same. I would say give yourself time to love your scar, before you decide to get rid of it. Do you mean plastic surgery, or plastic? Because I highly doubt that you would have had plastic put inside your nose. Anyway, no, your particular plastic surgery would not affect nasal piercings. (Except a bridge piercing, of course.) It's highly likely that your inexperienced friend was the reason why they both rejected. As long as those retired piercings have completely healed, you should be fine to get them (professionally) repierced.
