Do I Have to Be Christian to Wear a Necklace with a Cross?

12 is too young of an age to own anything that expensive. i do not care how responsible she is, accidents can happen. and it could slip off her neck and it would be lost. if she insists than tell her you will buy it for her and hold onto it until she's older and she can only wear it for special occasions
